Worked on the sales floor helping customers with finding the right product for their needs. I also worked on cash handling, freight and other items. This job was on a part time basis as I was pursuing my AAS in Biology at WCCC during this time.

This was the job that developed me the most as a leader and as an individual. I had the opportunity to work in an environment that fostered creativity, passion and a love for books and community. Through my time here I worked on things like merchandising, cash handling, marketing, hiring and other customer service skills.

As head of the children’s department I led many community events and book clubs. I worked with kids of all ages and backgrounds.
