Subcontracted under Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for design, analysis, and implementation PTS. FoxPro for Windows and Macintosh standalone executables. Multi-user application running on both Novell Netware and Microsoft LAN Manager integrated with 10 Macintosh users with AppleTalk. Provided continued LAN support in testing new technologies, implementing user requests and troubleshooting
Upgrade and conversion of dBase programs to Microsoft FoxPro and Access for Walter Reed Army Medical Center, as Project Manager involved in the design, installation, and fine tuning of 10 node LAN/WAN network for the US Army Office of Research Management. Managed a team of programmers through the completion of the contract, which was completed ahead of schedule. Installed system to enable Institute of Retrovirology in Gaithersburg to access database at WRAMC in DC. Implemented techniques to convert between WordPerfect and Word.
