LEAD DEVELOPER late night ice Nov 2022 –Present; Remote

Designed and developed a web application to manage client ice orders, enabling seamless admin interaction with real-time data. Utilized AWS CDK to provision the application’s infrastructure, ensuring efficient service management. Deployed and hosted the company’s Single Page Application (SPA) built with React.js on AWS S3, integrating CloudFront for a custom domain and cost-efficient request handling. Provisioned a DynamoDB table and implemented Node.js Lambda functions to support API Gateway integration, optimizing backend scalability. Leveraged AWS S3 and Lambda functions to significantly reduce reliance on EC2, minimizing operational costs.

FULL STACK DEVELOPER – VECTRA AI Feb 2021 – October 2022; Remote

Worked with UX/UI team and dev team to finish the company’s main security product using ASP.NET Blazor and ASP.NET Razor. The Assisted in Creating a portable version Using react web-based app to allow for a higher customer turnover rate. Lead the front-end development by using React.js to create reusable components to keep look and feel of both apps together (C# desktop & React web). Integrated Node.js lambda APIs from an AWS backend in both applications which allowed rapid development and turnover rate for new features in the web-based product. Used Jest to test front end functionality. Implemented a S3 pre signed URL upload feature to have history of company’s previous scans. The enhancements allowed for a 70% increase in user signups/purchases vs the company’s original C# desktop application (Vectra protect). The web app also allows users to have more functionality when using the tool.

Created Micro front end components using frameworks such as React.js, Next.js and react native. Used react natives web views to have the front-end micro-services communicate. Consumed multiple APIs created by my team using SpringBoot and Flask(python) APIs created by other teams in the company to create data driven UIs. Worked remotely on an agile team to scope and prioritize feature requests, using Jira, to get the biggest impact features to the users. Communicated with the team through technologies such as Microsoft teams, and Slack.

MERN STACK DEVELOPER – Orlando O. spencer i inc Sep 2019 – August 2020; Remote

Over saw 2 front-end developers, using Skype, to update and optimize one of the company's internal applications. I Implemented a way to CI/CD bi-weekly updates made to the applications using NGINX, PM2 and GitHub in the EC2 instance I oversaw. Lead the Development update for the Node/Express backend by updating mongo DB queries/Rest APIs, refactored a python script that allowed internal notifications to be sent out correctly, and integrated AWS services such as SES, S3. Face lifted the applications frontend based off the UI/UX teams wireframes. Assisted in the mongo DB migration to the fully managed service MongoDB Atlas.
