Currently function as CEO of a $4.83 billion holding company with 54 operating divisions. Have also founded and developed a bank with $116 million in assets; guided a $127 million Chemical Company, and launched/developed a $400 million healthcare insurance company.

Have been responsible for profit/loss and all general management functions including operations and administration, financial management, and human resource functions; development and implementation of operational and business plans; strategic planning; profit improvement and cost containment programs; manufacturing, and joint venture agreements; corporate acquisitions and divestitures; sales, marketing, and new business development; development and negotiation of vendor/subcontractor and confidentiality agreements; establishment of bank lines of credit and letters of credit; facilitation of cross functional management teams; liaison functions with insurance and law firms; and development of marketing programs and strategies. Have managed staffs up to 24,000+ employees and budgets as large as $4.83 billion.

A $4.83 billion international holding company composed of 54 divisions in the Agri Business, Food, Transportation, Construction, Building Material Supply, Shipping, and Chemical industries with 9 plants doing business in over 46 countries worldwide.

Invested $9,000 in a start-up manufacturing company, initiated all administrative and operational procedures, developed a detailed marketing and business plan, redesigned the financial, manufacturing, and human resource functions, and initiated an aggressive new business development program. Additionally, generated the investment portfolio, spearheaded 15+ strategic acquisitions, plus 8 profitable startups, and over the next 30 years built the company into a $4.83 billion international holding company conducting business in 46 countries.

Founded and served as CEO of Unicare Health Indemnity Corporation, Milwaukee, WI, and took it from a start-up to over $400 million in annual revenues. Annual post-tax profits were in excess of $50 million on an investment of $300,000, over nine (9) years.

Appointed Receiver and CEO of Prudence Mutual Insurance Company, Chicago, Il. Led the reorganization, from bankruptcy to operational and financial success. Annual revenues exceeded $100 million.

Served as Operating Receiver for several large trucking firms including National Van Lines. Operated National for 3 years, taking a $400 million company from a loss of 25% to a 12% profit.

Functioned as Special Counsel to the Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader and various Legislative Committees for more than 25 years.
