Doing quality checks on the product that comes in on the containers. Double checking the seals that are on the containers that brings in the product also when the product is unloaded making sure the product matches the paperwork and to make sure that all the correct documents have been sent with the product. Double checking the product count along with checking to see if any of the product has been put on hold or it is alright to be put in the orders that has been made already. When doing the quality checks there is a chart to tell the percentage of the product to be used out of the product item. Checking with the company’s program checking that the product name and item numbers are correct also if they have the same product number but different lot numbers. Making sure that all the documents are together if any discrepancies have been found emails are then being sent to the proper personnel to gather more information regarding the issue. When all inspections have been completed the paperwork is then turned over to inventory control so they can add the container to the items correct location and once completed then the documents are them scanned to the software to let corporate know that the container has came in and the produce has been put in location and orders can be filled.
