● I applied my physical ability to take care of the cattle by feeding and watering them. I had the responsibility of doctoring them by roping them out in the pasture and administering medicine in the least stressful way.
● My duty was to calve out 600 head of cows, 60 of which were heifers. As the calves were born, I tagged them and gave them 2 shots. During winter, I utilized fresh straw as bedding. In the spring when all the calves were old enough I branded them and gave them another round of shots, banded the bull calves.

● We also owned horses and bulls for the roughstock events. I was responsible for hauling the leased stock to rodeos.
