1)L&T Heavy civil infrastructure (Adroit tech)

Deployment at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant

QA/QC Engineer (Feb 2022-Present):

IMIR clearance, Fit-up, dimensional measurement of the fabricated embedded parts structural erection items.

Visual and NDT clearance for welded joints in fabrication and erection as per PNAEG 7-10-89.

Qualification of welders as per PNAEG 7-003-87 for main plant structural works and ASME section IX for PAB Piping and SFSF Buildings.

Inspection of grit blasting and painting for all the fabricated parts as per Russian WD drawing requirements.

Preparing and conducting WPS/PQR as per PNAEG 7-10-89. PNAEG 10-32-91.

Prepared and obtained approval of WPS & PQR for Auto MIG (Short Circuit Mode & pulse Mode As per ASME SEC IX. (First time in nuclear industry).

Successfully Qualified welder for Auto-MIG (GMAW) -PAB Pipe (2220mm Día).

WQT RT film interpretation as per PNAEG 7-10-89.

Conducting and interpretation of UT inspection on IC Liner and PAB Piping as per PNAEG 7-10-89.

Prepared and obtained approval for WPS/PQR of Russian critical equipment like Truss cantilever, dry shield as per PNAEG 7-10-89.

Successfully cleared 10000-inch Diameter piping (KLC Piping) inspection and NDT (DPT,RT) from M/s NPCIL.

Process stage wise inspection Like: Dimensional check-up, fit up, cross verification of electrodes, welder identification, preheating as per PNAEG 10-32-92.

Equipment inspection & witnessed for Active wastewater disposal tank & Condensate tank for Russian material.

Co-ordinating with Mechanical Execution team for smooth progress.

Preparing QP, WPS, WIR and various other relevant Quality related documents.

Trained & Developed NDT inspectors to perform NDT (KLT, VBT & DPT)

Checking of welding joints preparation before welding as per specification.
