Under direction of the Clinical Director, provide evidence-based practices in individual/group therapy services, case management, linkage to community resources to achieve treatment plan goals and interventions. Screen and set client appointments for intakes and make necessary referrals, Medi- Cal/Medicare billing procedures in EHR system including DSM-V diagnosis coding, implement mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and necessary assessments. Coordinate services with social workers for outside referrals and resources while consulting with Psychiatrists and or other providers to provide wrap-around client care.
Provide individual and group supervision to practicum students, interns and associate marriage and family therapists, social workers, and professional clinical counselors to ensure ethical and legal standard of care is met per BBS and CA regulations. Providing case consultation and referrals as needed for higher level of care such as hospitalizations due to 51/50’s and holds. Under direction of the appropriate administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher, assist in the instruction and care of students with severe disabilities, including management of student behavior, record keeping/data collection for applied behavioral analysis (ABA) instructional assistance, medical care, classroom organization/management, and interaction or communication with students, support staff, parents/guardians, and outside providers or agencies. Assist with creation and implementation of IEP goals, objectives and interventions used.
