Oil & Gas Operator/Safety Coordinator/HR/Sales/
Saltwater Partners LLC. (Saltwater Disposal Company) - Midland, TX
2017 to 2019
At Saltwater Partners LLC, I endorsed and enforced all safety protocols in compliance with company policy, city and fire codes/regulations, and OSHA standards. I ensured the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and regularly performed thiefing of tanks to guarantee accurate readings and proper handling of plumb bob to prevent foregone oil sales. I conducted frequent readings and recorded logs to minimize inaccuracies and discrepancies in production data. I was equipped to visibly identify exterior concerns such as erosion, holes in tubing, and leaks, addressing these issues promptly to prevent major malfunctions or spills. I possessed intimate knowledge of the functions and capabilities of a manual Saltwater Disposal (SWD) system and organized and scheduled pump/vacuum/hot shot/hauler services as needed. My role involved close collaboration with oilfield parts and pump suppliers, as well as chemical companies, to maintain the SWD system and ensure high-quality production. I implemented an anti-explosion system on all tanks, with a focus on the gun barrel due to frequent lightning concerns and installed a gauging system on tanks to prevent overflow and potential spills. Additionally, I cultivated and maintained relationships with local authorities, city officials, land and lease owners, environmentalists, business owners, investors, and the community. I also coordinated the construction of a freshwater station on site.
Site Safety Coordinator/Roughneck/Automation/Outside Sales/Driver
Renegade Well Services - Andrews, TX
2014 to 2017
As Head Safety Coordinator, I supervised multiple leases and job sites, ensuring that required safety standards were met and that appropriate PPE was present and effectively utilized daily. I effectively managed roustabout crews throughout West Texas and occasionally across state lines, primarily to New Mexico. I played a key role in introducing oilfield automation programs, not only within our company but also to several other oilfield companies, highlighting the potential to significantly reduce overhead while increasing productivity. I engaged with multiple roustabout companies, setting up meetings, proposals, and contracts. In addition to my supervisory duties, I worked as a roughneck on a roustabout crew, repairing down jacks on multiple pulling units. I collaborated closely with Pioneer and later developed a strong working relationship with Marathon Oil.
