Machinist-Welder
Reading and drawing blueprints, use of machines such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, boring mills, drill presses, gear cutting machines and grinders. Building new and replacement parts. Welding and repair of different equipment parts and machines.
1978–1980 Evans Machine Shop Hobbs, NM

1980–2006 Dynegy Midstream Services Monument, NM
1980-1983
Roustabout doing general work changing and rebuilding compressor valves, fuel valves, piston-cylinders-rings-bearings and relief work in operations under strict supervision from peer.
1983-1991 Mechanic III
Was responsible for all mechanical equipment at the plant, compressor stations and water wells. This included high and low speed reciprocating engines, vertical & horizontal, pumps & drivers, turbine driven generators. Also cooling fans, electrical and pneumatic equipment, fire and safety equipment.
I also helped maintain plant operating equipment such as boilers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, filter systems and monitoring instruments. I have some training from the electrical in instrument personal. I have attended most of the schools that Warren-now Dynegy has deemed necessary for mechanical personnel. I relieved maintenance supervisor and plant mechanics and performed their duties. Worked with engine analyst and some equipment of their duties. Lead groups in regrouts, main bearing jobs, complete overhauls, emergency repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
1991-1995 Field Operator I to Field Operator
This job entails a lot of planning such as new connects, line upgrades, field additions, schools within Chevron/Warren and Dynegy Productions Company Etc. I have 8 years’ experience with laptop computers and several programs. Most of my work is done with little or no supervision. I am responsible for schedules involving calibrations, plate inspections, producer meetings etc. I am responsible for my own area and run it like a business within a business.
1995-1997 Warren Petroleum Engine Analyst-Northern Area Maintenance-now Dynegy
Ran engine and compressor analyzer on low and high-speed drivers for Saunders, Monument, Eunice and Boosters. Ran vibrations on engines, electric motors, expanders and generators. Worked with maintenance Supervisors and mechanics to solve maintenance problems. Had to stay on a rigid schedule and report to area supervisor. Assisted in training programs as well as attending schools for Engine Analyst.
1997-2006 Field Technician-Formerly Warren Petroleum-now Dynegy Midstream Services
Appointed team leader by South Versado field team. I must watch the Monument & Eunice processing facility, Buckeye, Skaggs & Joy booster stations and the South Versado field balance. I’m also responsible for monthly balance reports, budget reports, matrix items reports, invoices, one calls, new connects, line repairs and upgrades, filing, schedules for contractors and Dynegy personnel, order parts and supplies, watch oil and gas reports for new drills and work overs and calculate, write and track AFE’S. I must monitor pressures and volumes. I work with all plant teams to keep them informed. Work with other field teams and participated in best practice. Look at outside vendors, processes, and equipment to better Versado field team with less cost, faster and more accurate. Helped revise plant schematics and to keep them updated. Helped develop gas measurement II also instructed approximately 7 years. Taught Warren, Chevron, Amerada, Dynegy and other personnel. Also subbed as instructor for gas measurement 1 several times. Have experience with CDPD, spread spectrum radio, radio communications, GPS and mapping. Have experience with Barton, American, Low Flow, Super Flow and Total Flow meters. Have experience with Total flow CCU 5.3 and upgrades, Win CCU 4.0 and upgrades, Vas 3.2 and upgrades, Win CCU 3.2 and upgrades, Win-flow and Flow-cal. Use corrective volumes total-flow auditing data base, previous monthly volume comparison created by Company personnel. I have attended schools on MDS Radios & Transnet Radios. Started putting maps on Electronic Data bases GIS in Dynegy. Also started putting Win Flow to use in South Versado program to maximize flow & volumes in low pressure field gathering systems. I’ve been on several review teams within Dynegy itself. I have also been on several Field & Plant Root Cause Failure Analysis for Corrosion & Cathodic protection teams within Dynegy. Have basic C.P. credentials.

Measurement Tech 2 Frontier Field Services in Maljamar, New Mexico. Responsible for scheduled calibrations and maintenance on an assigned route. Set meters and radios for new gas connects. Also respond to producer request. Have taken on some projects scheduled for the coming year. Have been assigned to call on rotating schedule.
November 2008
Promoted to Tech 3. Moved to Pampa Texas to take over the Kelton Field and Measurement responsibilities. Got the measurement and Calibrations back on schedule and in spec. installed the measurement equipment at Antelope Hills field system along with the plant equipment. Put in service and maintained until the sale of the system. Helped PVR employees get started and learn the system. I take care of the calibrations, scheduling, installation of new equipment and maintaining of the radio equipment along with the WINCCU programs for measurement, all reporting and editing of the records and volumes for the system. Since the sale of the Antelope Hills Plant I have made it part of my job to learn how to operate the older plants at Kelton. I have been a relief operator as well as operator for several years. As of January 2012, have operated on a normal basis until other operators could be trained. Assisted in the training of these operators. I also assist in maintenance projects, updates, and repairs of all the plants and its equipment and operations. That includes all booster stations, pipelines, pigging and associated equipment. I have 34 years of experience in the gas processing business. That goes from maintenance, engine analyst, gas measurement, pipeline installation and maintenance, operations.

In the Corporate office as a Sr. Operations Specialist in Measurement for a newly formed Measurement Department. My duties Include but are not limited to the following:
Assist Corporate Measurement Manager with ideas and projects that the team feels is important to each of the regions and company.
Assist Corporate Measurement Analyst in securing information and data needed to improve the systems the company uses to monitor our programs, analysis for both oil and gas volumes.
Assist the marketing group with questions concerning our field locations, field personal, measurement equipment, volumes and process`s and data that they may need or use for their daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Assist in research and monitoring API, AGA, GPA, ANSI, BLM, TRCC, GLO and TCEQ for updates or changes in the measurement standards, rules and regulations concerning measurement and what our measurement manual states. This keeps our manual up to date as well as our measurement personal in the company.
Assist in reviewing contracts and agreements so that information is pushed out to our measurement personal in a timely matter.
Assist in keeping company personal informed about changes in Company Policy, Safety, Training, Volume Verification, Metering, Witnessing, Sampling, Regulatory and Sight Security.
Assist in monitoring the Industry for changes or updates that include Meter Verification and Calibration on the different types of equipment that our company uses in the field for custody transfer and allocation Oil and Gas Measurement. This also includes the equipment that our tech`s use in the field when it comes to Meter Verification and Meter Calibration.
Assist in monitoring the quality of our oil and gas by staying in contact with the labs and lab personal that do our oil and gas analysis work. Look at the reports and monitor the quality for our wells and batteries.
Assist in monitoring liquid proving reports, gas meter calibration reports along with gas analysis reports, this also includes the equipment and techniques used in measurement to insure they are severing our needs and desires so that we can maintain an efficient measurement program.
Monitor and research websites that work and serve within our industry. This includes drilling, completions, construction, operation of our wells and the products that our company produces. That also includes safety, environmental, regulatory and the agencies that we must align with. I also follow along with site security and best practices used by our company.
Monitor and research Webcast, Podcast and Webinars that pertain to our industry. This also includes drilling, completions, construction and operations as well as how to become a better leader and mentor for the company. Also included are self-improvement research as far as knowledge and skills that can be shared with our people and company that may improve what we do and how we do it. Cut cost, improve on the equipment and process`s that we use, make it safer for our people and work towards being a better steward of the land and the environment of our liquid and gas products.
Monitor equipment manufacture`s to see what is updated and new. This includes talks with company representatives and technicians to stay up with the technology and software that is used with our measurement devises and in their services and products.
Monitor service companies that we use in third party services to make sure they are severing our needs and desires so that we can maintain an efficient measurement program.
