Where to get care
Try virtual visits
Unable to go to an appointment in person? Or maybe you simply prefer the convenience of staying home. You may be able to connect with a provider through a virtual visit. Virtual visits can be a great option for preventive and routine care, as well as some urgent care needs. Whenever you receive urgent or emergency care, it’s important to tell your primary care provider (PCP). Be sure to share diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions and therapy recommendations. It may be useful to write this information down. This will help your PCP make the best possible decisions regarding your ongoing health and well-being. It will also help him or her coordinate care between your specialist and other providers. Benefits, features and/or devices vary by plan/area. Limitations and exclusions apply. Not all network providers offer virtual care. Virtual visits may require video-enabled smartphone or other device. Not for use in emergencies. This information is not a complete description of benefits. Contact the plan for more information. Limitations, copayments and restrictions may apply. Benefits, premium and/or copayments/coinsurance may change on January 1 of each year. In an emergency, dial 911. Not all medical conditions can be treated through telehealth. The telehealth doctor or nurse practitioner will identify if you need to see an in-person doctor for treatment. Benefits and availability may vary by plan/area.
