Seeking an Executive role in Healthcare Administration or Quality Management. My combined educational endeavors such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters in Business Administration, Doctorate in Health Administration, and Certification as a Lean Sigma Greenbelt and Lean instructor have prepared me for taking on leadership roles in quality management and process improvement. My passion for process improvement and customer satisfaction drives me to seek effective, efficient, equitable, and cost-neutral processes that benefit all involved stakeholders. I possess transferable skills such as strategic planning, identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting KPIs, research, budgeting, time management, multitasking, supervising others, scheduling, computer skills; customer service, auditing, critical thinking skills, investigation, adult instruction, and problem resolution.
Published peer review works titled, Omnibus Reconciliation Act Revisited, The Influence of Changing Nurse Documentation Practices Have on Patient Satisfaction, Amalgamated Leadership Model, and Critical Analysis of the Role of the Federal Government in Health Services Delivery in the United States. My recent experience as the Louisiana Regional Clinical Coordinator for an ACO in Tennessee. This role allowed me to work independently and remotely with minimal oversight in educating, monitoring, and advising providers on hard-wiring clinical workflow to improve meeting CMS KPI metrics. The role also consisted of EMR audits, and data entry, along with collaborating with practices to identify areas of improvement and developing annual strategies and goals. Past experiences as an Integrity Revenue and Healthcare Quality Analyst have also equipped me with collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and departments to capture improvement opportunities in clinical operations, billing processes, and designing cross-departmental collaborative workflows. These roles have sharpened my diligence through current and retrospective audits. In addition, led performance improvement projects that focused on clinical operations, clinical outcomes, and waste reduction. As well, as the creation of physician scorecards and data collection tools, and the analysis of KPIs.
I have served in leadership roles such as Home Health Administrator, Director of Quality, Acute and
Ambulatory Quality Analyst, Charge Nurse of a 30-bed medical–surgical unit, Clinical Supervisor of a 26-bed oncology and medical/surgical unit nursing, Unit Director of 26-bed Alzheimer and Dementia unit, and Assistant Director of Nursing in a 280 skilled nursing facility setting. I have supervised 5-200 plus employees.
My quality management experience in various healthcare sectors has allowed me to work within integrated networks beholding to multiple stakeholders to provide quality services and produce meaningful processes throughout the healthcare continuum. As well as develop and manage policy and procedures for CPC+, PCMH, MSSP, HEDIS, and payer incentive programs and payments with oversite and reporting for Infection Control, Employee Health, Risk and Compliance, Grievances, and Disaster Preparedness.
I am an eager, persistent, adaptive person, funny, and an initiative-taker. I believe in thinking creatively, collaborating, and finding value in differing viewpoints. If you are looking for a progressive thinker, please consider me.
