Reporting on product variances and assigning justification for the development.
Collaborates with Ghana Standard Authority for calibration of operational meters and servicing of other precision instruments.
Checking of product quality before and after receiving from pipeline and after loading to river barges whilst adhering to H, S&Q standards.
Servicing and repairing of pumps and motor in the terminal and constant monitoring of anti-fire engine.
Ensuring that daily tank records and relevant parameters (density, temperature, VCF etc.) are well documented in a log book and forward same to the Terminal operation Manager for figures computation and reconciliation.
Liaise with respective coordinators to carry out receipt of products from river barges and pipelines.
Responsible for the avoidance of product losses/spillage during discharge and also to achieve zero fatality within the terminal.

General machine servicing and changing of part for smooth operation and identify potential safety incidents related to equipment reliability and develop necessary action plans.
Assign tasks to improvement project team members and Monitor the predictive maintenance program for effectiveness.
Ensure that daily, quarterly and annual maintenance reports are being prepared for the department and forwarded to the head and also Audit Engineering & maintenance activities and report progress.
Route improvement plans through the Health and Safety Department as necessary for review, approval, and clarification of safety procedures.
Supervise and execute processes to ensure that all environmental risks and emergency issues are identified and mitigation plans are in place.
