Warehouse History:

Giant Food / C&S Wholesaler 2003 closed down June 30, 2012

Selector: Selecting products from slots, putting them on pallets for wrapping and placing them at the dock to be loaded

Loader: Loading pallets on outbound truck, sometimes trucks will carry two different stores, as a Loader, I must load stores in proper order first stop loaded last. Must may sure weigh is distributed equally.

Safety Committee: Meet monthly to discuss safety issues and to make improvement in the daily operations.

Freight Handler: Moves products from inbound trucks from docks to empty slot

Lock out tag out procedures for safety reasons

Shipping/ Receiving: Checking to make sure all trucks are loaded correctly trucks have more than one stop on it. Make sure that bill of laden are correct. All products are handling as first in first out. Keep count of tonnage ship out and in. Send reports to Operation Manager. Please note that this operation closes down June 30, 2012 and will be move to York, Pa.
