I mainly worked in the kitchen where I cooked the fry products, which consisted of chicken nuggets, McChicken, and Crispy chicken. I ran the grill where the burgers were cooked. I worked in the back drive window where customer orders were taken, collected money from the customers and washed dishes. I worked in the Deli as a Deli/Bakery team member. There the making of the cold sandwiches, wraps, specialty meat, cheese, and slider trays took place. The food for the hot case which included fried chicken, potato wedges, wings, boneless wings, and the side dishes for the hot case were also prepared here. Operated the meat and cheese slicers to serve the customers. Unloaded pallets for the deli and bakery and stored the product in the appropriate places. Loaded and unloaded the rotisserie to cook the rotisserie chicken. When needed, helped rotate products on the shelves and restocked the product on the shelves. All food that was prepared was temped making sure it was the correct temperature for serving. When the time expired for freshness, the food was pulled from the hot case, counted, recorded, and disposed of. I was also trained and capable of draining, filtering, and cleaning the friers, rotisserie, and meat and cheese slicers. Upon closing was responsible for cleaning of the entire deli/bakery area, which entailed tearing down the rotisserie, hot case, meat and cheese slicers, and the fryer. Cleaning these items consisted of washing with soapy water, rinsing and sanitizing. The floors were soaked with soapy water and scrubbed with Deck brushes. Rinsed and the extra water was squeegeed down the floor drains. The deli team members were also responsible for preparing the donations for the food pantries. Team members were responsible for keeping fresh product on the shelves for the customers and pulling the outdated or expired product from the shelves.
