I have continued my personal career training and have attained a NICET Level 2 Certification in Fire Alarm. I am currently studying for my NICET Level 3 Certification in fire alarm. I am an active member of ASCET (American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians) and hold both a Fire Alarm License and a Security License in the State of Texas.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FIRETROL PROTECTION SYSTEMS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 11/15 – 12/16
I served as a Fire/Security Account Executive focused on the sale of Fire/Security Service and Installation projects. My primary focus was developing the security side of the business. My personal sales exceeded $1.5M with major product lines including Genetec, Bosch and Fire-Lite.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING SERVICES (GCS)
PROJECT MANAGER – DOD FORT HOOD PROJECT 08/13 – 09/14
PROJECT MANAGER – FAA PROJECT 09/14 – 06/15
I served as Project Manager for a $6M Department of Defense Project at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. This was a Service and Maintenance contract. The focus was on maintaining and adding to site systems including Electronic Security, Access Control, CCTV, and Network Solutions. I served as the direct interface with the government providing reports, scheduling of technician tasks, HR duties, Parts Ordering and Tracking, Workload Projections, Bids, Submittals, and managing to budget. I was responsible for overall growth of the business by building relationships and trust directly with government site personnel including the overall Contracting Officer. I grew the business by $400K my first year. I am in JPAS for a Secret Security Clearance. I obtained CPR Certification, OSHA 30-hour Certification, Monitor Dynamics Certified, and completed all required OPSEC/IA/AT Training Certifications with the government. My team secured the remaining 4 years on the contract prior to my being reassigned to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Project.
In September 2014, I was reassigned as Project Manager on the construction of the new FAA Regional Headquarters Building located in Fort Worth, TX. GCS served as the prime subcontractor to Johnson Controls Security Systems on this project. I interfaced with all trades and managed (8) technicians providing installation, implementation, testing, and customer acceptance duties. This was a $2M contract installing integrated Access Control, Pelco IP CCTV, and Aiphone IP System. The head-end systems consisted of a Head-End Command Center, Remote Head-End Command System, and Remote Guard Monitoring System. Subsystems and key components included integrated servers, fiber optic interfaces, turnstiles, metal detectors, electronic locks, and Gate Operators. I successfully completed this project and passed all final testing requirements in June 2015.
PROTECTION 1 ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 03/13 – 08/13
I managed key accounts with a customer base of $1.5 million Dollars. I was responsible for direct customer sales as well as engineering systems sold including Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Access Control Systems, and CCTV Systems to meet the needs of my customers. I arranged demo’s when required, provided cost analysis break downs for various options for both potential and existing customers. In the short time I was there, I had worked my way to 13th in nationwide sales.

I worked as a Senior Technician where duties included managing a territory for various services including service and inspections. This job seemed like a great opportunity with an aggressively growing company desiring to branch out and grow its offerings.
ADT SECURITY SERVICES
SENIOR ACCOUNT TECHNICIAN, SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 01/08 – 09/12
I began working as a Senior Technician and was promoted to the position of Senior Account Executive in January 2012. As a Senior Technician, I was responsible for installing and servicing large commercial security, access control, CCTV, fire, and burglar systems. Key responsibilities included project management, team lead, design, site walks, take-offs, panel programming, installation, fire alarm inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting system problems. I have training and experience with Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, EST, Notifier, DSC, Ademco, ADT Focus, Pelco, American Dynamics, and many other system panels. My electronic skills are technically sound. I was promoted to Senior Account Executive where I was successful selling all the systems I was trained on.
COMMUNICATION CONCEPTS SENIOR TECHNICIAN 01/07 - 12/07
I worked as a licensed Senior Technician. As a lead installation technician, I performed and oversaw installations at multiple locations including schools at the same time. Duties and responsibilities included overall Project Management, installation, system troubleshooting, take-offs, time management, fire alarm inspections, and system commissioning on various product lines. I have experience installing security, CCTV systems, fire alarm, public address (P.A.) systems, CATV systems, sound reinforcement systems, and master clock systems. I am proficient at running crews for both new installations and retrofit projects.
