Performed mechanical, welding and fabrication work on mining Draglines, Drills and Shovels. Have a good general maintenance background with working knowledge of maintenance procedures surrounding bearings, gears, lubrication, structural maintenance and hydraulics. Strong welding skills, SMAW, GTAW, MIG, Flux Core, Dual Shield, Air Arc Can follow proper repair procedures for task preparation, repair and completion (pre-heat, post- heat) Can perform weld repairs and fabrication ensuring quality and workmanship. Ability to read prints lay-out and complete fabrication projects from start to finish. A self-starter, safety conscious, and able to function in other support requirements as needed. Able to communicate effectively, repair requirements and job status within the DDS team on a timely basis.

Highly flexible with the ability to adjust to the demands of the job, produce high quality work and be depended on to complete assigned tasks.

Knowledge of safe crane positioning, safe working limits, rigging and proper hand signals. Able to focus on producing high-quality dependable work every shift and take on additional responsibility with minimal supervision.
