My job is to informatively sell, sometimes, adult items to people. Each individual goal of every employee and store and as a whole is to make sure your daily or weekly number goal is met so that the store could do well. We all worked as individuals and a team at the same time as we would all check in on each other to see how the other was doing, trying to help or encourage anyone that was a little behind so that we could meet our goals for that day/week/month. We always had to maintain a positive and helpful attitude with the customers which was not hard to do as the customers were almost always wonderful to work with. Any customer in the almost category was treated the same regardless because that’s what good customer service is. As a team we helped to maintain a clean store that people would feel comfortable to shop in. Any down time we had we would perform light cleaning in order to maintain the cleanliness of the store. Keeping track of daily goal was a high priority, balancing the numbers and goals of the day month and year current and prior was a task that was performed daily which I was lucky enough to be shown how to do in hike I was an associate making me able to move up To assistant manager. Other duties include, answering the phones, helping customers who have questions and are hesitant to come in, attending monthly manager meetings while setting up individual store meetings to teach my team what I have learned so that they can perform better, ups shipments to other stores, making sure each email from corporate is responded to and dealt with, supply requests, payroll, handling stock and making sure its all out (inventory correct) and available to the customer. During my time with the company I only ever received good reviews as is shown on the Google review section
