EXPERIENCES
VOLUNTEERING
Data collation: Volunteered at my church and was responsible for compiling youth data and creating a map using this information. The project aimed to foster connections among individuals living nearby, serving as a tool to facilitate engagement for events and community gatherings.
Event Planning: Assisted in planning an event that involved a career talk between two hosts and the Business Administrative Assistant students. This was a medium sized event that was engaging with positive feedback. Furthermore, I was appointed by my peers as Coordinator for our Year End party.
LEADERSHIP
Nominated to be the acting leader for several group projects held within my class. Such projects included website creation amongst others. These projects aided in the increase of my communication, leadership, time management skills and the ability to delegate tasks.
TUTORING
Engaged collaboratively with parent to identify student requirements. This enabled tailored tutoring strategies to be made for the student’s advancement.
INTERESTS
Languages: Acquired a keen interest in languages and actively pursuing proficiency in Japanese, and Spanish to become multilingual. My current goal is to become conversational in Spanish by the end of next year.
Writing & Illustration: Drawing and writing are my hobbies, but I intend to build them for further use. An accurate written representation of my ideas and a supportive visual are my end goals.
