WORK EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, functioned as an operations manager, but also performed the duties of a general office manager. Primarily responsible for all the data entry and bookkeeping, also did all the correspondence and billing to all of our major clients. This was executed by the meticulous entry of much data that was produced daily by the independent contractors who worked for us, recorded in numerous active Excel spreadsheets I created and maintained electronically and in organized hard, physical copy. Additionally, when asked by the owner, light banking fell within my purview, but all banking was mainly done by him.
From a general office extent, I created and maintained Excel spreadsheets to log and record anything clerical from menial information to multiple legal and insurance documents produced by our law firm, and a couple of our insurance companies. I also kept the office current by ordering all the products necessary to do so, and in addition to setting up appointments, helped to answer the incessant phone calls of a five-line system.

Assisted the Director of the catering department in the set-up and the tear-down of multiple large and small event occasions, both private and commercial. This involved the collection and delivery of hot and cold food items, tables, furniture, decorations, and all the other various items necessary to successfully implement an array of events from large weddings and funerals to birthday parties and holiday festivities.
As senior driver, not only did I perform all the logical duties of loading and unloading hand-picked hot and cold food items prepared by the kitchen chefs, and the same for any grocery orders that were called in for delivery by the innumerable private and commercial customers from Anna Maria to Fort Myers, my duties were more diverse than the other drivers.
Morton’s operated a vehicle stable of about 10 vans. As fleet manager, I was solely in charge of all the vehicles from basic maintenance and upkeep, to ensuring each was legally registered with the state of Florida, which also included having on-hand all state-required certifications and licenses for catering events. I created and organized multiple Excel spreadsheets for each van and category from maintenance records and legal documents to licensures and certifications.
In addition to the above, when asked by the owners, would perform various general office and clerical duties, assist with customer service on the floor of the store, re-stock inventory and engage in cashiering activity.

I graduated from this school with a 4.0.
