Order Selector - Used an electric pallet jack to navigate the warehouse to accurately pick and stack orders, while using the Vo-collect headset system and/or order sheet. Responsible for pulling and gathering orders of goods in different departments of the warehouse (i.e. dry goods, frozen, and perishables) and delivering them to the appropriate docks. Selected orders in different temperature-controlled areas of the warehouse, building, stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets to meet weekly production quotas and standards. Ensured order accuracy, checking the product for damages, and reporting any product damages/loss.

Order Selector – Worked at Trader Joe’s Warehouse as a temporary associate. Obtain merchandise from bins and package them for shipment. Attach identification information to products, items and containers. Complete order receipts and calculate cost of goods. Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses and other areas. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location, based on food safety policies. Ice Coordinator – Made medical and food grade ice packs by mixing chemicals. Watch for water levels and quickly react to clean up to eliminate slip hazards if spill occurs. Fill out the mix log at the time of making each mix. Ensure the viscosity of the mix is correct (knack required). Used caution when pouring and handling of mixes or chemical components and wear appropriate gear, when applicable. Maintain salt levels in brine tanks. Maintain proper storage of chemicals. Worked with mix tanks, agitators, RO system, and pumps. Notified supervisor or lead on reorder points of the mixing supplies and raw materials. Picked up and disposed of any debris in the warehouse. Inspected equipment during use and notified supervisor or lead of any issues or defects.
