EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
JUL 2023 - PRESENT
Quality Assurance Specialist, Allcat, Boerne, TX
My most recent job is with Allcat as a Quality Assurance Specialist. I review claims for 2 different carriers with Allca USAA and Nationwide. My start date with Allcat was June of 2023. I worked 3 days right now remotely the other 2 days I commuted over 2 hours each day. I’m currently looking for a full time remote job.
I worked on 25-40 files a day. I use team chats, emails, and ring central to communicate with other employees or Field Adjusters. My job consists of working daily to review claims in my queue and to make sure they meet the carrier’s guidelines. I review the file by researching the photos, GLR, priors, sketches, variation reports, and make sure all reports are uploaded including priors. My files range anywhere between
$0-$180K range. I’m given mostly claims that consist of roofs but also interiors because of my background experience in construction. I’m able to identify hail or wind damages to the roof, soft metals, fencing, contents, or other structures. I upload prior claims in Xactanalysis then I’m able to discern when there appears to be overlapping damages from prior claims. After reviewing the file if all is according to guidelines I Approved the file by uploading the fee bill first through Claims Assist and then approve the required documents through Xactanalysis. If the file needs revisions I send it back to the Field Adjuster for revisions. If further revisions are needed I send the file to be internally collaborated. My job includes speaking with the Field Adjusters following up with them through phone calls and emails on the revisions or assisting them in revising their estimate, GLR, sketch, and other reports. I also speak with other team members from different departments to gather pertinent information. My turnaround time per file 1-2 days depending on the response from the IA. JULY 2017 - DEC 2022
