Looking for Senior Position in Construction/Civil Engineering Domain. Since my extensive experience covers most of Civil Engineering Disciplines. WORKING EXPERIENCE
I- Empoloyer: Self Employeed (Freelance).
Position: Civil Engineer.
Employment Period: June 2018 up to date.
Duties: Construction Management and Site Supervision. Project Executed: Infrastructure works of public park in Sidoun City. Structural Works of three storey building.
Structural and Finishing works of private Villa.
II- Employer: SALCO CONTRACTING CO.
Position: Projects Control Manager.
Employment Period: Since January 2012 to May 2018. Duties: I was reporting directly to Company’s CEO, to provide guidance, direction, and assistance for the resolution of Projects’ difficulties through accumulating, analyzing, and co-relating data & reports from: Cost Control Department, Planning Department, Procurement Department, Contracts Department, and Estimation Department. Verifying Projects’ Status to avoid any deviation in Projects’ budgets or time execution.
Project Executed: During this Period we were having around Thirty Seven Projects in all Kingdom’s Regions. The projects consisted from Infrastructure Works, Bridges, Road Construction Hardscape & Landscape Works, and Building Construction. Projects’ values range from 50 – 450 Million. III- Employer: ISHADA CONTRACTING & MAINTENANCE CO. LTD. Position: Projects Manager.
Employment Period: From February 2002 to November 2011. Duties: I was following up the project managers for all the construction issues:-
- Work progress verses time schedule.
- Alocation of resources (Material, Manpower, & Equipments).
- Coordinating with Clients/Consultants.
- Particiapting in periodical progress meetings.
Project Executed: High Rise Buildings & Pre-engineered Steel building; projects values ranges from 5 – 60 Million.
IV- Employer: MAKSHAFF SERVICE LTD.
Position: Maintenance Manager of Jeddah Area for VIP Private Residences (2 No.). Employment Period: From January 1999 to December 2001. Duties: I was fully responsible for Implemention of:-
- Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
- Preparation, Execution, and Monitoring Operational Budgets.
- I was leading multinational team consisting of 3 engineers and 37 technicians.
V- Employer: HATCON - Al-Hajjan Contracting Establishment. Position: Project Manager.
Employment Period: From March 1996 to October 1998. Duties: I was in charge of multinational staff comprised of 7 Engineers, 2 Autocad Operators, a crew of 245 persons besides the subcontractors. My duties included following up all project contractual issues:-
- Monitoring the progress schedule.
- Supervising quality assurance and quality control plans.
- Follow up material submitals/approvals and procurement.
- Preparing implementing, and monitoring of weekly & monthly reports. Project Executed: Safco Housing Project 28 Villas project value 49 Million. VI- Employer: DIAB INTERNATIONAL EST. Steel Buildings Division. Position: Construction Manager.
Employment Period: From January 1991 to December 1995. Duties: My duties included leading and supervising a team of 3 Civil Engineers and crew of 74 skilled labors. Following up the work progress of four job sites during the same period on daily basis; coordination with consultants/client representatives; monitoring material and manpower needed for each site. Project Executed: Pre-engineered Steel buildings; projects values ranges from 4 – 27 Million. VII- Employer: ALMASHRIK CONTRACTING COMPANY.
Position: Site Engineer of “INFRA-STRUCTURES” for 1 year, then Coordination/Safety Engineer & Deputy Construction Manager for 2 years. Employment Period: From October 1987 to November 1990. Duties: As Infra Structure Engineer I was involved in the execution of all underground utilities.
As Coordination Engineer, I was in charge of coordinating with all Public Utilities Departments to obtain the necessary work permits. As Safety Engineer I was in charge of strictly implementing, monitoring and controlling all safety rules and regulations. Besides I was assisting the Construction Manager on the QC matters, & coordination with consultant. Project Executed: Eastren Region Corniche Project; project value 370 Million. VIII- Employer: DYWIDAG SAUDI ARABIA LTD.
Position: Coordination Engineer.
Employment Period: From February 1985 to August 1987. Duties: I was assisting the Project Manager in all matters; like Material Supply, Subcontractors, Equipment alocation; Coordination with Client
(Ports Authorities) & Consultant representatives.
Also, I was involved in the verification & approval of shop drawings, material submittals, & monthly interim-certificates.
Project Executed: Marine Control Tower - King Abdel Aziz Port in Dammam; project value 70 Million.
IX- Employer: ARABIAN POLYFAB.
Position: Procurement and Coordination Engineer.
Employment Period: From September 1982 to December 1984. Duties: I was in charge of contacting suppliers & manufacturers to obtain quotations of all the materials needed on site complying with the project technical specifications and project time schedule.
At same time I was involoved of materials installation, and keeping information flow between construction team and suppliers. Project Executed: Housing Project of 97 Luxurious villas for the Royal Commission in – Jubail Residential Area; project value 450 Million.
