o Prepare Annual Procurement Plan for Procurement of Construction

/Maintenance Works and Engineering Service projects (Design, Construction Supervision, etc.)

o Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP’s) for Consultancy Service, Non- Consultancy Service and Technical Assistant projects and Works/Maintenance Bidding Documents using Government of Ethiopia standards, o Undertake Evaluations of Contractors’ Bid and Consultants’ Proposal and prepare detail Evaluation Reports as member of evaluation team and/or as team leader for African Development Bank and Government of Ethiopia financed projects,

o Review and provide comments on the Tender Documents (for construction works contracts)

o Conduct Pre-proposal/Pre-Bid Meetings and prepare minutes of meeting / necessary amendments/clarifications for the issued works tender documents/ Request for Proposals

o Undertake Detail Assessment of Expression of Interest (EoI) and prepare reports using World Bank and Government of Ethiopia standards, o Prepare different correspondence to Contractors, Consultants, International financers, etc.

o Attending Meetings for pre-contract award Negotiations and Preparation of Minutes of Negotiations, Contract agreements,

o Preparation of Service and Works Contract Documents o Preparation of contract document for the appointment of Dispute Review Experts

o Undertook any relevant tasks as assigned by supervisor and submit bi-weekly reports and Quarterly Reports for projects under the procurement o Further, has trained, as part of the experience sharing program, Water Development Commission higher officials and representative staffs from regional branches on the subject of “Procurement of Civil Works and Consultancy Services for GOE and Financier (World Bank and AfDB) funded projects” from May 31, 2021 to June 04, 2021.
