Professional Summary

I recently retired IT Support Specialist from the Mayo Clinic with over 28 years of experience in the Information technology department. I set-up networks, software, staff and end user training classes for new software, AV/ communication meetings nationwide. Using my vacation time I continued to work in the special event industry all around the country with Trade Shows, Golf Tournaments, concerts and festivals in various positions. I am currently looking for a position where I can continue to travel to such events. I have a CDL-A driver’s license, 20 year clean driving record, semi-truck and box truck mechanical skills, loading, unloading, setup of equipment at venue locations with OTR driving experience and logistics. I have no responsibility’s that prevent me from staying on the road for months at a time traveling from different venues.

Processed over 300 support requests weekly using (Servicenow, Remedy) for technical assistance on a wide range of issues related to over 400 medical software platforms as well as operation, medical supply, inventory, shipping and receiving platforms.

Configured hardware, handheld devices and software to set up work stations for employees use. Platforms included windows, apple, linux and VM. Trained end-users on use, functionality and application of medical software including Cerner, Epic, IBM just to name a few.

St Lukes hospital executive chef: 02/1990 to 04/1993

Over saw the ordering, production and manufacturing of guest and patient meals for the hospital.

Adhered to all safety protocols for patient meals working side by side with the onsite nutritionist during meal planning.

On average we served over 300 patient meals a day as well as served guest in front of the house café.

Help train nutritionist during internships as well as ran safety meetings and continually education classes for the food service employees.

My hobbies are biking and charitable marathons, 10k and 5k.

I use my hobbies to help raise money for charitable event. I also volunteer my time for the Donna breast cancer marathons, Juvenile diabetes association and Habitat for Humanities as a laborer to help build homes. Being an ocean enthuses since childhood I also enjoy surfing, fishing, and shark tooth hunting.
