Currently I am employed as a Sr. Structural Designer for Bergen Pipe where I am in charge of training new employees and less experienced designers and draftsman. I train these new employees in the company’s standard design practices, drafting standards of our catalog, writing Bill of Materials according to customer specifications, and troubleshooting any problems or questions they have.
One of my special projects was being the Project Manager of Design and Detail of Huntington Beach and Alamitos commercial power plants. I was the leader of the designers who worked with me from beginning to completion of the projects. I was involved with conference calls to the customer and their construction company, providing spreadsheets on information where we were at fabrication, material cutting, schedule of shipping, painting, troubleshooting of customer issues and working with their Superintendents on getting their fabricated material to their construction site according to schedule.
I am always open to learning new software and especially when it is hands on, also working with teams or working alone with very little supervision. I have experience with leading a shop group as I was instructed to do on many occasions.
