Adjustment Committee Chairman
All inmates who receive a disciplinary report (ticket) appear before the committee for a hearing
and subsequent disciplinary sanctions per departmental rule.
American Correctional Accreditation Committee
This committee was utilized to ensure the facility met ACA requirements for accreditation.
Americans with Disabilities Act Committee
This committee is in place to maintain compliance with all ADA requirements within the
facility, both physical and daily operations.
Assignment/Placement Committee
This committee is responsible for reviewing and assigning inmates to job assignments and cell
placement within the facility.
Classification Review Committee Chairman
All inmates received within the facility are given a Classification Review to determine the
appropriateness of their escape risk and security level. The committee adjusts these levels
per administrative directive.
Crisis Team Member
This team receives quarterly training in all aspects of potential mental crisis occurrences.
Employee Benefit Committee
This committee enacts multiple fundraising events for a variety of efforts to give back to the
employees as a whole.
Facility Grievance Liaison
The Facility Grievance Liaison tracks all inmate grievances and can communicate from the
Attorney General’s Office, all the way back down to the offender.
Facility Media Coordinator
Trained to speak to the media, in the scenario media inquire about any facility related events that arise.
Facility Review Control Team
This team performs internal audits of all aspects of the physical facility and daily operations.
Go Green Committee Member
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Corrections adopted the Go Green Initiative where the
individual facilities are challenged to explore all avenues of Go Green potential applications.
Grievance Officer
The Grievance Officer investigates inmate allegations and complaints in grievances and
prepares a Grievance Officer’s Report for the warden of the facility.
Intelligence Pool
This pool is drawn upon to assist with information gathering during serious events that occur
within the facility.
