I started in Ann Arbor in December 2019. I work with students with disabilities as a TC. Currently I have an Academic Support and ELA resource room, plus I monitor TC students according to their program requirements. Classroom management, lesson planning, writing IEPs, parent meetings and communication. I work with ancillary staff to meet student needs. Worked through Covid shutdown, learned all online teaching techniques and use of technology to help students engage in an online environment. Head up the Tappan Sunshine club to support staff with events that happen in their lives. Collaborate with teachers to fully support student needs. Planned 8th grade field trip, created spreadsheet, broke down prices, arranged transportation and payments. Head of the Tappan Middle School Art Club. Headed up a P2P program with the University of Michigan depression center to give students understanding of depression, and how they can help themselves/other students to end the stigma of mental illness and get help. Work with students with VI, ASD, SLD, EI, and CI.
