Part of the Kawasaki Safety Committee which identified and resolved company safety issues in the Kawasaki Railcar Division.
Throughout the WMATA 7000 Series project for Washington DC, I inspected and measured multiple sections of the car. These include but are not limited to the completed under frame, end frames, car shell, seats, and complete interior.
As a quality control/assurance representative, I was the liaison between the production lines, engineering department, and resident inspectors. I was responsible for following up and tracking engineering change orders to ensure proper compliance. Additional responsibilities consisted of completing vendor reject reports, assisting resident inspectors in auditing various materials and equipment throughout the shop floor, as well as performing water tightness tests at different stages of railcar assembly.
Quality Control/Assurance Metro North and New York City Subway System/MTA projects –Duties performed include in process inspection responsibilities which consist of spot welding, side frames, under-floor frames, roof frames, end frames and equipment installation. I am also involved in mock ups, prototypes, and first order inspection of different areas of railcar assembly and perform final inspection on completed railcar in preparation for shipment.
Collaborate with onsite resident inspectors at all stages of assembly in order to facilitate communication and the timely progression of product shipment for contracted business.

For the Port Authority Trans Hudson project I was a railcar technician responsible for diagram processing and wire routing of different sections of the railcar.
On the Metro North (M8) project, I was a railcar technician responsible for custom building the master control console, window mask, and framing using precision drilling techniques.
