• As the senior supply chain manager, I’m responsible and held to account for the supply chain management process and operating budget
Manage a staff of 65 employees(5 direct reports and 60 hourly employees) within supply chain across 3 different shifts
• Oversees team applying best standards and practices in Supply Chain and Logistics, and, if needed oversees and guides team compliance to relevant guidelines. • 5S project was a collaboration effort between Patient Care Services(15 departments) and Supply Chain. This project was to optimize and improve the departments clean utility rooms so that each department would have 72 hours worth of supplies. 2020 Service Area Supply Chain Budget: YTD Target is $3,083,291 vs YTD Actual $3,224,964 with a variance from target is -$141,673. Slight increase over supply chain med-center budget; due to constraints to the covid pandemic.
Inventory optimization for AIO (Annual inventory optimization) was at 100% and physical inventory for OR/ASU/Eye surgery center were completed.
Business continuity that supply chain provided for the site during covid to get the PPE to the staff was done the following way:
• Due to the worldwide PPE shortage, I created a business continuity plan that enabled nurses and doctors to ensure they had PPE to take care of their patients. This was worked in conjunction with nurse leadership and was successful.
People pulse engagement survey rated supply chain with an 83% score. The region engagement survey rating was a 74%, Santa Clara supply chain was 9 points higher. This result shows that even during the pandemic the team was very engaged and felt that supply chain leadership was on the right track.
