June 2024 - Current: SBCS -Program Coordinator
Plan, supervise and oversee the daily programming of a juvenile justice- impacted youth shelter in accordance with the goals and policies of the organization.
Attends multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews social study of all youth and approves admittance to shelter.
Works with partnering agencies including the Department of Probation, Child Protective Services, County of San Diego Court, County of San Diego, and Alternatives to Detention to communicate about youth in the shelter.
Supervise a staff of 15, create shift schedules, and provide training and shadowing when appropriate.
Coordinate daily program operations including daily set up, youth supervision, and program planning and site maintenance. Conduct regularly scheduled meetings for all site staff. Attend Site Supervisor meetings and relay information to site staff. Recruit and interview for all positions at the shelter.
