Investment Ideas: The project targets to automate the process of sharing Investments Ideas with Citi Private Bank clients. Current process of Idea sharing within Capital Markets is manual and scattered over various system touch points. The goal of this project is to streamline these touch points making it easier to track the solicitation done by relationship professionals. This is a global initiative and will be implemented to NAM/LATAM, AP, EMEA regions in phases.
Pre/ Post Trade Ticketing: The project is targeted to make the trade ticket process systematic. There is a compliance mandate that every trade that is executed is captured and a record of all the trade parameter is maintained. Under current Capital Market’s processes these are maintained by individual product specialist in an excel sheet and is shared with Operations for reconciliation, book keeping and reporting. The project provides a user interface to the product specialist where they can enter all the required fields and submit to Operations for further processing. Operations can then match these trade data with real trade system parameters and approve the trade. If there are differences or corrections the record can be rejected and sent for resubmission. The system also provides an option to download these trades in an excel sheet for reference and any other reporting purposes.

Automation of CCAR Retail exposure regulatory reporting & History data remediation
As a part of Citi bank strategic initiative complete regulatory reporting is being automated. As a part of the initiative a two-pronged strategy has been executed where in phase 1 all regulatory reports of CPB were automated (Basel & CCAR retail) and as phase 2 send CDEs to Optima retail (data warehouse is built to hold retail exposures for complete BHC). Additionally, remediation of historical data and restatement for previous 7 years history has been taken up as a part of FED MRA.

These processes span across systems and geography.
Global Wealth Management – PBR (Private Bank Risk)
Global Wealth Management (GWM) Repository will receive a total of 39 feeds from various Regional systems with Credit and Finance details needed for Basel compliance reporting requirements. GWM would process the above received data in two stages (Staging & Main). The captured data would be enriched, reconciled and provide the feed to B2NCR (Basel II Non-CMB RWA Processor) system. The B2NCR feed is the combination of both Risk and Finance Data. The Risk data contains detailed Borrower, Facility and Collateral information. The Finance data contains Borrower/Obligor’s exposures details like Direct & Contingent, Unused commitments, Derivative exposures and AFS (Available for Sale) exposures. The Primary objective is to capture the credit and finance data from various regional systems and send the enriched data to B2NCR to calculate the Risk Weight Assets (RWA). The Private Banking Repository will be able to support providing the Credit and Finance data to B2NCR for calculating the RWA for each exposure.
