President & General Manager/Quality Manager – Manage plant operations, sales channel and customer relationships. Plastic blow molding industry (Extrusion, Injection, Stretch Blow Molding and Decoration) serving household, food and beverage, personal care and healthcare industries.

Selected Accomplishment

Led Artisan Packaging’s formation after book of business and plant purchased in 2019 (purchased from Graham Packaging, Rank Group Limited)

Increased sales team and distribution network to grow annual revenue from $14MM to $22MM.

Established department performance goals and provided direction & methods for reaching milestones.

Improved business process flows and overall departmental productivity. MOEE 73 to 84%, scrap reduction of 57%,

Established quality systems across all functions to meet corporate and customer requirements. Customer complaints reduced from 4.35 to 0.110 PP10M.

Implemented plant floor product specification validation via SPC, calibration program, gage R&R, product defense system, HACCP, quality management reviews.

Commercial and Quality Director – Led customer service and quality organizations for $160M polycarbonate manufacturer.

Responsible for all business processes from order to cash including distribution management, direct customer relationships, service level, and order fulfilment excellence.

Responsible for strategy and execution of quality programs across manufacturing and commercial functions. Focus included compliance to ISO standards and continuous improvement of Integrated Management System. Led successful ISO 9001 registration.

Leader of Global Bayer Material Science polycarbonate sheet manufacturing quality team. Harmonized equipment, product specifications and test methods between global production plants.

General Electric Company, Fairfield, CT 1990 – 2007

Manager, Quality - GE Plastics, Pittsfield, MA

Executed quality projects including new material introduction (50% cycle time reduction achieved), supplier qualification, ISO registration for global plants.

Established supplier qualification program which included safety, regulatory, product specification and service level requirements.

Operations Manager - GE Medical Systems, Tampa, FL

Responsible for service revenue including medical equipment installation, sales, and execution of service agreements. Imaging healthcare products: MRI, CT, x-ray, bio-tech, mammograms, and nuclear PET.
