● Responsible for procuring supplies, parts and maintenance related materials for the manufacturing plant.

● Receive and interview supplier representatives to determine best pricing, and the terms and conditions for quotations.

● Duties include predicting the amount of materials that are needed to keep the assembly line running for up to 30 days and stocking that amount to increase efficiency.

● Prepare and process purchase requisitions (RFQ’s) to suppliers when needed such as backorders, inventory adjustment or emergency orders.

● Receive manufacturing, repair and order requests (MRO’s) and place orders for the needed parts and materials to prevent downtime.
