OBJECTIVE
A retired member of the Philippine Navy, Armed Forces of the Philippines with the rank of Petty Officer First Class and served for 21 years of active military service. 2013 - 2019: Assigned with Naval Task Force 61, Naval Forces Western Mindanao, Bagong Calarian, Zamboanga City.
Position: Petty Officer In Charge (POIC)
-Provide operational briefing to the Commander on the status of all naval assets deployed in Western Mindanao area of operations;
-Monitor the disposition of naval surface assets, air assets and naval special operations group (NAVSOG) personnel in support to the maritime and ground operations in Western Mindanao area of operations;
-Provide letter of instructions, implementing plan, operational plan, operational order and disaster contingency plan for all the units in the operational area;
-Act on all directives and guidance issued by the higher headquarters;
-Act on the operational, administrative and logistics concerns of naval assets;
-Recommend to the Commander the rotation and strategic deployment of naval assets in the operational area;
-Maintain and monitor radio net communication to all naval assets deployed n the operational area; and
-Maintain updated Information Database on all Maritime Law Enforcement apprehensions; smuggling, piracy/kidnapping, illegal transport of forest products, illegal transport of firearms and explosives, illegal fishing and also the conduct of search and rescue operations.

2010 - 2012: Assigned with the Office of the Assistant Chief of Naval Forces Staff for Operations, Naval Forces Western Mindanao, Zamboanga City. Position: Petty Officer in Charge (POIC)
-Assist the Operations Officer on all matters pertaining to operations;
-Over all in charge in the proper function of the office and discipline of subordinates;
-Provide daily office workflow update to the Operations Officer;
-Monitor all branches under control; the Fleet branch, Marine branch, Administrative branch, Reservist/Civilian Active Auxiliary branch and International Affairs branch;
-Prepare daily operation briefing for higher headquarters update;
-Prepare/submit weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports to higher headquarters; and
-Prepare letter of instructions, implementing plan, operations plan, contingency plan, letters, directives and other related operations work. 2007- 2009: Assigned Aboardship in Landing Craft 293 (LC-293). Position: Duty Petty Officer for Admin/Operation
-Prepare/ render daily admin/operational reports to higher headquarters;
-Receive/ Transmit communications via military radio net; and
-Assist the Admin/ Operations Officer in all matters involving the daily activities and mission of the vessel.
2006: Assigned with the Headquarters Ready Force, Philippine Fleet, Sangley Point, Cavite City.
Position: Duty Petty Officer for Operation
-Prepare/ draft directives for all naval assets missions;
-Monitor the activities and operational concerns of all assets under the operational control; and
-Prepare monthly accomplishment report for higher headquarters. 3
2005: Deployed under the UNITED NATIONS FLAG in Liberia, West Africa
(Philippine Contingent Peacekeeping Mission).
Position: Non-Commissioned Officer In-charge for Training and Assistant Non-Commissioned Officer In-charge for Operation
-Prepare program of instructions for the training of Philippine troops in the area;
-Facilitate and prepare reports of all trainings and seminars; and
-Prepare/ submit daily operational report to General Headquarters. 2000- 2004: Assigned with Naval Forces Operations Center, Naval Forces Western Mindanao, Zamboanga City.
Position: Duty Petty Officer for Admin/ Operation and Duty Radioman
-In-charge in the admin and operation of all naval assets in the area;
-Provide updates on the status and location of all naval assets;
-Prepare daily communication report to higher headquarters; and
-Receive/ transmit radio communications.
1998 -1999: Assigned with Headquarters Naval Forces South, Zamboanga City Position: Duty Sentinel/ Watch
-Perform guard watch at main gate, inspecting all vehicles coming in and out of the camp;
-Perform roving watch securing the perimeter of the camp; and
-Perform vehicle security/ escort, convoy to military mission dispatch and other guard duties.
