Project Description:
UDS MR stands for Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation which acts as a mediator between CMS (Centre for Medicare & Medicaid Services) & Rehabilitation centers. The main aim of UDS is to send the patient information of facilities to CMS to reimburse the amount spent by facilities and reduce the denials from CMS.
The rehabilitation centers have their own HIS (Health Information System) and they will be inserting patient demographic data into UDS-PROI and UDS Documentation by sending patient information through HL7 messages. The purpose of the HL7 system is to automate the process of capturing and managing patient information and its assessment details. Introduced a patient assessment tool more powerful than any seen to date by the medical rehabilitation field. Our UDS-PRO® System subscription is designed for IRF-PAI completion, CMG assignment, and data transmission to both CMS and UDSMR. The system has different case mix group (CMG) for different diseases based on this CMG system generates expected length of stay (ELOS) so that the patient gets cured with in that period. In each of the assessment’s patient conditions such as his eating, bathing, grooming, walking style are noted and each of them are given ratings so based on these ratings patients are transferred from one stage to another.

Insphere Source System Queries refers to the data extraction code to pull the data from the VUE application, CRM, and other source systems such as CSV files (Budget data, Geography, and Legacy Actual). In general, all transformation logic, such as the replacement of null values, or transforming a value to a more meaningful name to the end-user, will happen within the SSIS packages.
