A 3 month project had been done on Targetting breast cancer cell by self assembled gold nanoparticles conjugated with 5 flurocil nano fibre in vitro study under Dr.Bala at Avigen biotech pvt ltd

Description :

Collection of medicinal plants

Preparation of Aqueous extraction

Phytochemical analyses

Quantitative and qualitative analyses

Screening of AuNPs (gold nanoparticles)

To check the stability of AuNPs at different duration -

Characterization of AuNPs under UV visible spectroscopy, Transmission electron microscope(TEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX)

To study the antioxidant activity

To study the cytotoxicity agent in normal cell line

Conjugation of AuNPs to 5-fluorouracil

Invitro anticancer activity against breast cancer cell

Apoptosis analyses of breast cancer by using fluorescent microscope

To study the chromatin condensation of cancer cell

Skills developed during project :

1. MTT assay for cell viability

2. Nuclei staining by DAPI method
