February 2024 to Present

I have been currently working for allied security company in Orange since February of 2024. Glenn air is my post. My job is to make sure that absolutely no homeless people get on the property. I make sure that employees and staff make it to their car safely. I also guard one of the Glenn air buildings to make sure that nobody goes in and out of there unless they are allowed to. My goal is to be aware 24/7 of my surroundings. I have a lot of patience which is something you need to have with this job. If a confrontation ensues I make sure to keep my distance at least 6 ft apart from the person and let them know that if they do not leave I will call the police. At the end of the day, my job is to keep the employee and staff safe and to make sure that there isn't a homeless people riding around on the property or trying to get into the building that I'm guarding. I also do foot patrol every hour around the building to make sure that there is no one on the property that isn't supposed to be there. If an incident happens I have to fill out an incident report and turn it into my operations manager. I also have to fill out a (DAR).
