While working in the field of obstetrics, I obtained by NCC certification for inpatient obstetrics, belonged to PA-MILC (Pennsylvania Mid-State Lactation Coalition) and held certifications for In-Patient Obstetrics and IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant). I have maintained BLS certification for 35 consecutive years and held my certification in neonatal resuscitation for the11 years working labor and delivery. I also filled in as a clinical nursing instructor at Penn State University in the fall semester of 2021 as a request by the director of nursing, Suzanne Khun, PhD, RN for additional instructors needed to accommodate large class size.
