Resume:

WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK ( WBW)

*ST - *TH AUGUST.

World breastfeeding week is an annual celebration held every year from 1st - 7th of August in more than 120 countries.

It's purpose/ importance is to improve the health of babies, promote, protect and support the right of women to breastfeed anywhere and at anytime.

{necessary information but should be rephrased. The aim is to make it conversational.}

"WBW" is supported by WHO( world health organization), UNICEF( united nations international children's emergency funds) and many ministries of health and civil society partners,"WBW" started in 1992 to create public awareness and support for breastfeeding.

{The information makes it sound like a news announcement and doesn’t necessarily fit into a voice over script.}

There can be consequences of skipping breastfeeding which are infants who don't receive breast milk are likely to experience poor health outcomes than breastfed infants; and mother who do not breastfeed increase there own health risk eg: matitis( inflammation of the breast). Expert like "Birmingham women's and children's ( BWC) NHS foundation trust" has given tips like skin to skin which is also called

"kangaroo care" which is to be done for at least one hour a day to strengthen the bond with the baby and make breastfeeding more seamless.

{An average person does not know who this is. It makes the information dormant. We can do without it.}

There can be health implications as stated before, if stop breastfeeding it can make the breast feel hot and painful and can make one feel un-well with flu- like symptoms, this is why it is important to keep breastfeeding as the breast produces hormone oxytocin, oxytocin helps your uterus contract after delivery,It also helps it return to it's normal size and reduce the amount of vaginal bleeding after delivery.

{ Both in purple are almost the same information. Oxytocin is a little ambiguous to mention.}The script is not localised. It doesn’t portray the Nigerian perspective.
