I would like to be considered as a candidate to fill the position of customer service specialist. I believe I am the perfect candidate to fill this position as I exude all the characteristics of a service specialist, I am professional, and I have a passion for customer service.

The competence of a customer service specialist will reflect on the level of customer satisfaction and service among customers and as such it is imperative that a service specialist exude all the characteristics of a service specialist to ensure for greater revenue within a company. The characteristics of a customer service specialist are narrowed down to three that seeks to measure the ideal service specialist. These are: being an active listener, analytical thinking, and participating in active reflection. I believe I will be an asset to the company if I were to become a service specialist as the traits listed above is what I do as a regime. I am key in actively listening, paying attention to details, policy adherence and creating practical resolutions.

What would also make for an exceptional service specialist is an individual who is professional. Being professional compasses of three categories:

1. Self discipline

2. Adherence to company's policy

3. Being goal oriented

I have embedded within myself a nature of self-discipline that can be seen in my attire, communication and my morals and standards. Adhering to the company’s policies are key in being a quality specialist as this is needed to ensure for complete satisfaction of clients. Similarly, an individual that is goal oriented needs little or no monitoring. By setting goals I exceed targets and set trends.

Lastly, all the above along with my innate ability and passion for customer service levels the playing field for what I lack in experience. My passion for customer service and my knowledge of customer service exceeds the bars of any experience. My ability to empathize and my intrapersonal skills give way for complete satisfaction which I believe is worth sharing and worth building on. Given the opportunity to be a quality specialist will give me the opportunity to create agents that are not just taking calls but taking issues and fears and making them into resolutions and assurance.

What I would bring to the Customer service team is my current six months experience has a subject matter for new hires which also allows me to be apart of molding and enforcing company policies and providing exceptional customer experience and meeting company’s KPI,s
