The internship is designed to individually support entry level interpreters to support their journey in obtaining employment. Interpreting classes assigned by the HSS department. 1:1 Development Hours = 2 hours per week 28 for the semester Group Development = 8 sessions 16 hours for the semester Individual Development = 1.5 hours a week 22.5 for the semester Provide voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice interpretation for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing clients.

Adjust communication methods to meet individual client needs. Collaborate with colleagues in team interpreting settings. Offer freelance interpretation services in various environments, including concerts, seminars, parties, educational settings, ceremonies, and training sessions.

Ensure accessibility and effective communication across diverse events.

Pride Festivals: Music, DJ and MC crowd interaction. Music Concerts

Team support for comedy shows live.

Parent teacher conference meetings.
