DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
During production, quality control personnel perform regular inspections and to ensure the vehicle is being built to the required standards. This inspections can include visual checks, measurements, and functional tests of the critical systems such as brakes, steering and suspension.
(QC) is an effort that reviews product quality intending to identify and eliminate defects. Discovering and fixing the defects should typically happen before the product reach the consumer.
Plans, coordinates and direct the workshop service department’s quality control efforts, ensuring that repairs to our vehicles have been completed correctly and that vehicles are returned in the proper condition.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates these objectives with other managers.
Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to formulate dealership standards.
Minimizes comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
Investigates and corrects driver complaints regarding quality.
Inspects all recently purchased and comeback vehicles to ensure proper correction and condition of vehicles.
Meets monthly with dispatcher and service manager to determine if any recurring problems need to be addressed.
Monitors training levels of technician and communicates concerns to workshop Supervisor / Manager.
Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability. Support technical training effort through one-on-one and group sessions.
Inspects all repair orders and ensures that they include complete documentation and that proper procedures have been followed.
Understand and follow all applicable federal, state and local regulations on hazardous waste and OSHA Right-to-Know.

I receive a job card from service advisor for estimate a commercial and passenger vehicle with accident.
Before I start the estimate, I will check the all information of the vehicle base on standard procedures.

Then I start for the estimate, installing diagnostic information system (DAS) to check the electrical system of the vehicles.
If the accident damage is in front, I will check the impact of the accident from the inside damage, going to the outside to know the all damage of the vehicle.
Calculation of repair
Get the picture of all damage parts by grouping techniques from the WIS – ASRA in workshop information system or EPC – electronics parts catalogue.
Then go to AUDITEXT system to start computerized estimation system.
Calculate the time required base on standard procedure to completed all necessary repairs and inform the body shop for the authorization of additional needed.
After completion of the estimated value, I need to negotiate the repair costs with insurance coordinator and provide a breakdown and adjustment of the repair amount for the costumer.
Conducts safety toolbox talks and Safety meetings high lighting safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Important Safety issues such as information, suggestions/ recommendations, concerns related on the job and while off the job.
Prepare Hazard Identification Plan (HIP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with recommended counter measures approved by Company Manager and Proponent prior execution of any given project.
Support top Management Safety Campaigns by enforcing full implementation of it at the work site.
Prepare weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Safety reports to record and monitor safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to be discuss with the company during the Company Safety Management Meeting.
Reporting workshop daily activities as follows: vehicle work in progress / work under process / waiting for approval or any additional approval / follow up vehicle for under warranty or vehicle campaign / follow up with spares parts to update the report regarding for parts availability and follow up with service advisors in case of any inquiry, regarding the workshop daily report.
