Ford Service Information and Training Coordinator (Contract)
· Report a Problem (RAP) Project:
oOEM service information and training team receives issues/concerns from users (engineers and automotive dealer service technicians) of the workshop manual, wiring diagrams, service labor times, training and other dealer publications through a database system called Report A Problem.
· Training course parts, tools, and supply management:
oOEM service information team designs and develops specialized dealer technician training courses to support technician competency, technician retention and support warranty policy and procedures. Some of these courses require hands on workstations and/or on vehicle “bugs” that require vehicle parts and tools.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the RAP concern/case issue list by publication type.
· Generate regular reports to support management reviews using RAP system and Microsoft Office tools.
· Work with Engineers and Suppliers to ensure RAP concerns/cases make it through the workflow on time to meet the RAP days to close metric.
· Escalate RAP concerns/cases that are late or not progressing through the workflow system in order to meet the RAP days to close metric.
· Order and track the shipping of training course parts, tools and supplies according to each course plan.
· Create and maintain tracking sheet as parts, tools and supplies are ordered, received and shipped to training facilities.
· Work with training leads, merchandisers and suppliers to address backorders, shipping delays, or other procurement issues to ensure material arrives on time to support course timing plan.

Ford QVM (Qualified Vehicle Modifier) Program Liaison
Worked closely as Ford QVM Engineering Liaison between Ford OEM Commercial Truck engineering and aftermarket upfitters, outfitters and modifiers who built on Ford commercial trucks. Vocations supported include but not limited to, motorhome, transit/school bus, mobility, ambulance, police, alternative fuel, ship through and electrification.
Manage Ford QVM program schedules (230 participating upfitters) and status reports for annual quality assessments. Reports include status for QVM rating forms, certificates, and agreements/contracts between Ford and QVM’s. Also, visited upfitter production facilities along w/Ford truck assembly plants.
Uploading data for stretched chassis facilitating shuttle and motor home modifiers. Formulate and distribute annual certificates. Instrumental in assertively tracking down Ford engineering personnel to resolve modifier/customer needs/wants.
Research and identify upstream program model product changes (future), content description and launch timing. Roll out the changes to the QVM participants.
Attend annual work truck, motorhome and bus shows including the NTEA every spring supporting Ford and the Ford QVM participants.
Support the Ford Body Builders Advisory Board hotline including technical reviews of bulletins and other technical publications supported on the website.

Specifically scheduled and developed the new model car, light and heavy truck workshop repair manuals (Ford including International medium truck and Freightliner heavy truck Joint Ventures. I also worked on the implementation of our quality system (ISO 9001) including our standard operating procedures and work instructions while monitoring our quality standards.
Interface closely with engineering to ensure accuracy of procedures including illustrations while adhering to strict deadlines.
