Work Experience

Armstrong Forensic Laboratory, Inc. Arlington, TX March 2009- Present

• Detection of metals in air, water and soil samples using ICP (inductively couples plasma), mercury analyzer and FAA (Flame Atomic Absorption).

• Implementation of Quality Control (QC) requirements in accordance with in-house protocols as well as client specified QC requirements.

• Analytical sample preparation for various tests including governmental testing like AIHA Pat round and WIBBY environmental samples.

• Report and document test results using laboratory prepared SOP.

• Air sample analysis like PNOR (Particulate Not Otherwise Regulated), TSP (Total Suspended Particulate).

• Analysis of lead and various metals in membrane filters and wipes using methods OSHA ID 121 and NIOSH 7300.

• Determination of total lead in children’s products using CPSC methods.

• Determination of wear metals in engine oil and lubricating oil by FAA (Flame Atomic Absorption).

• Perform various analytical tests under wet chemistry like BOD, COD, TDS, TSS, cyanide test, oil & grease, pH and alkalinity.
