Worked closely with Operations, Alaska Wells and Coiled Tubing Drilling Team to efficiently implement redevelopment drilling programs with multi-lateral well systems and create reservoir producer/injection interaction evaluations to determine development prospects that enhance waterflood and enhanced oil recovery pattern optimization. PetroAmazonas – Quito, Ecuador: (01/2012 – 07/2012). As Reservoir Engineer Coordinator, supervised a team of 15 Reservoir Engineers in charge of four oil assets with a total production of 150,000 BOPD, and evaluated different alternatives to improve oil recovery, supporting IOR/EOR projects in the conceptualization phase and forecasting oil production for the Government.

Operaciones Rio Napo – Quito, Ecuador: (10/2009 – 04/2010). Accountable of the optimization of a mature field with more than 200 wells with a total production of 50,000 BOPD. Recommended workover programs and zone re-completions of wells to optimize recoveries, define depletion strategies and identify infill locations. Standardized all the field pressure data.

Collaborated and supported to the North American group in reservoir studies, applications for reservoir modeling with the Irap-RMS software. Evaluated the Cretaceous carbonate and Eocene/Paleocene calcarenite reservoirs of Gulf of Mexico’s Cantarell complex fields and validated reservoir and production data of Akal and Nohoch fields.
