Flat roofing tedious work, the whole process is just like any other roofing. Start with a strong base like metal slaps held up by the beams of course. Insulation on top, screw down with a screw and a plate. Coat the insulation that's screwed down by the plates with "glue", then lay(or roll) the rubber down. Then wala a finished flat roof.
