Successfully supervised in-house attorneys and outside counsel for the City of Memphis, a municipal corporation, involving more than 1,000 lawsuits, thousands of traffic/code violations and thousand of claims filed against the corporation.

Promoted in December 2000 to the position of Deputy Director over the entire agency while, simultaneously, remaining the Authority's General Counsel. Oversight of Risk Manager in claims resolution.
