Responsibilities and achievements:

Assist management in running the affairs of the office in the absence on the manager

Develop a good and reliable loan scheme.

Review and update credit and loan files

Compute payment schedules

Stay abreast of new types of loans and financial services and products in order to better meet member’s need

Negotiate payment arrangements with member’s who have delinquent loans (loan recovery)

Make daily review of the entire loan portfolio to check increase in delinquency.

Check out landed documents with appropriate quarter for fraudulent landed documents

Make recovery programs and lead the recovery team

Go on inspection visits, evaluate collaterals and make appropriate reports to granting authorities

Organise monthly educative talks with cocoa farmers on how to transform farming into business (preparing their income and expenditure statement)

Assist in the preparation of quarterly, bi-annually and yearly budget.

Proper filing and coding of loan documents for future consultation.

Assist the main cashier in receiving and making payment by cash, serving an average of 40 members a day and ending the day with no cash differences

Issue receipts to customers

Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure that the amount is correct

Resolve customer’s complains

Monitor cash movement and ensure that there is adequate cash to meet up with the cash needs of the customers

Reconcile cash at the end of the day to check out for shortages and excesses.
