Responsible for loading with the overhead crane all materials to the cutting department as per the job we were working and taking the drops and either scrapping the drop or keeping it depending on its length .
I ran the computerized angle machine that I would program according to the blueprint size along with the hole punch that was needed .
I transfered to the Shipping Dept. and ran the wheelabrator and was in charge of all maintenance and keeping the machine adjusted to the specs that the steel needed to be per job then would later organize the job outside un the crane way or in the yard
.Once the whole job was complete I would go through the entire job with a checklist making sure all pieces where complete and ready to go to the destination. I would load BN
most of the larger pieces with the crane and the smaller pieces with a forklift according to the load schedule. I was very versatile in all of the work areas from helping all dept. such as Machine Shop the fabricating booths down to maintaining fork lifts, overhead crane, and the wheelabrator even making parts to repair the machines .
